1. Impressive evidence supports only one religion, the Judeo/Christian. Only one book, the Bible, has proven itself worthy of being considered a divinely inspired book. No other book has the fulfilled prophecies.  People like Nastradamus and Sylvia Browne are not prophets, just check the accuracy of their predictions, it's obvious.       Some recently fulfilled prophecy: Deut 28:64-65-"The Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other...and among those nations you shall find no rest..." and Deut 30:3-"Then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you."  Since 70 a.d. the Jews remained scattered around the world until they began returning in large numbers after 1917. Their land was considered an uninhabital waste and swamp land. Israel became a nation again in 1948. b. On May 15,1948 five Arab nations with superior military hardware, attacked the new state of Israel. This was 50,000,000 Arab Muslims against only 675,000 Jews. The muslims promised a quick victory, but after eight months they gave up and a cease fire was declared. On June 5, 1967 Israeli radar picked up Egyptian jets heading for Israel. Egyptian dictator Nasser, confident with new Soviet jets, tanks, and artillery, said Israel would be annihilated. Three hours later, most of Egypt's air force was wiped out. The next day, Israel was attacked by Jordan, Syria, and Iraq's air forces. Troops began moving into Israel along with their tanks and artillery. After only six days the war was over, Israel increased in size from 8,000 to 26,000 square miles. Israel's victories were considered remarkable and were a surprise to the experts.

c. The discovery of a recently fulfilled prophecy by Grant Jeffrey (revised by Guy Cramer) is based on the rebirth of the nation of Israel and Ezekiel 4:3-6, Jeremiah 25:11, and Leviticus 26:18. Jeffrey basically says that the 430 years punishment on Israel started when the Babylonian army conquered Israel in 606 B.C.(first siege) and took them back to Babylon as slaves for 70 years. But when they were released in 538-536 B.C. 95% of them stayed near Babylon and were unrepentive for their sins. Leviticus 26:18 therefore kicked in which declares a seven-fold increase in punishment because they didn't repent. So the 430 years minus the 70 years of Babylonian captivity left 360 years multiplied by seven or 2,520 years (these are Biblical prophecy years, 360 days in a year, therefore 2,520 times 360 equals 907,200 days). Using 537 B.C. the decree by Cyrus as their date of release from Babylonian captivity and adding 907,200 days you get 1948 A.D. Israel was recognized as a nation May 14,1948! This was the first time Israel was a soverign independent state since King Solomon over 2800 years ago. Also Israel captured Jerusalem 19 years later in 1967, the time from 606 B.C. to the loss of Jerusalem in 587 B.C. was also 19 years.         www.direct.ca/trinity/exile.html d. The 1917 victory of Britain over the Turks was also predicted to the exact year and possibly the exact day. This ended enemy rule over Jerusalem and paved the way for the rebirth of Israel.

Budda, Muhammed, Krisna, etc. fulfilled no impressive prophecies or miracles, were not virgin born, were not punished with a horrible death for claiming to be the Son of God, and did not physically resurrect from the dead in fulfillment of prophecy. Jesus Christ did. There were over 40 prophecies about the future Messiah that were fulfilled by Jesus Christ, including His birthplace, the year He would begin public ministry, and the way He died. a. The Bible has verses (Luke 23:44) about a mysterious darkness that happened at the crucifixion of Christ. This is backed up by ancient non-Biblical historical writers Phlegon and Thallus who wrote about a darkness that lasted three hours in the time of Tiberius Caesar at the time of Passover. It could not have been an eclipse because it happened during a full moon.

3. We did not evolve from apes.. DNA evidence proves that not even Neanderthals are in our DNA chain. Darwinian evolution is wrong, no missing links have been found. Life is much too complex to have evolved from a mix of chemicals. Read about what is contained within a living cell: DNA, RNA, Ribosomes, Mitochondria, Lysosomes, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Golgi Apparatus, Enzymes, Regulatory Proteins, Nucleus, and Cytoskeleton. A single human DNA strand contains 3.2 billion base pairs, known as the Double Helix, called a Chromosome. A human cell has 46 chromosomes. The "primordial soup" is a joke. All connections had to happen at the same place, all components had to arrive at the same time, and the order of and connections had to be correct.

4. This Bible is the only ancient book to have given a creation account that agrees with modern science. One common mistake people make is with Genesis 1:3. It means that light first became visible from the earth's surface. The frame of reference was established in verse two, "surface of the waters", in otherwords, on the surface of our planet earth. Until this time the atmosphere was too thick and dusty for any sunlight to penetrate, it was dark all the time. Genesis 1:16 is when our sun and moon first became visible through the clouds. The Bible does not teach the sun was created after the earth.The odds Moses could have guessed the correct creation scenario, even if he was given the events, is 40 million to one. This is important because Genesis was written before (no critic can refute that) our modern creation scenario was proposed.... Hebrew/English lexicons say that the word for day in Genesis can mean long periods of time. So the Bible is not in conflict with scientific evidence which supports a universe that appears to be billions of years old. (Note: We do realize there are other interpretations of the Genesis creation account and we are not suggesting that what scientists believe is superior to the Bible)    The Bible also said that our universe was created by God who exists outside of this universe and that our time and space had a beginning. The space-time theorem of general relativity (this was an extension of the equation of general relativity, derived from 1966 to 1970 by Hawking, Ellis, and Penrose) proved that our time and space had a beginning.

5. The evidence continues to pile up in support of the Anthropic Principle and Intelligent Design which states that the universe appears to be carefully designed for the sake of human life. For example, if the age of our sun, our distance from the sun, inclination and eccentricity of our orbit around the sun, our earth's rotation period/axial tilt/age/magnetic field/thickness of it's crust/oxygen to nitrogen ratio/carbon dioxide level/ozone level/soil mineralization, and Jupiter's mass and distance; were not just right, we'd all be dead. There are about 200 of these  fine-tuned parameters that have to be just right for life to have existed here on earth.

6. Perhaps you've heard about a heavenly near death experience of a non-Christian and think the life of Christ is irrelevent to today's world. Have you bothered to research near death experiences? Do you think God sent His Son down here to be crucified for no reason? 7. What about the Davinci Code? It's fiction. Historians state that virtually everything Dan Brown says about Leonardo is false. Our 4 Gospels were chosen because they were the only ones that deserved it, they were written by Apostles or companions of Apostles. Other so called gospels were written much later by Gnostics, who liked to mix in Greek mythology. There was no debate about what to use. Of the 216 bishops at the Council of Nicea, 214 signed the Nicene Creed. The only debate was about whether Jesus has always existed (He has). Jesus was never married, there's no evidence to support that, it has helped sell books though. The Priory of Sion (suppossed organization in charge of hiding the truth) was created by  French con-man Pierre Plantard in 1956. Plantard did time in prison for fraud and admitted in court in 1993 that it wasn't true. He died in disgrace in 2000.
